| The highlight of Gillian's riding career was to be the first Australian Equestrian Female to win a medal at International level. The two time Olympian and her wonderful horse, Peppermint Grove won consecutive gold medals in the teams Three-Day event in Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996. |

Gillian's riding career has spanned 40 years and she has competed at International level since 1984. During her career she has won, or placed, at many international competitions including Olympic Games, World Championships, Trans-Tasman's and Internationals in Europe and Australia.
Gillian was a Show and Dressage rider from the age of 10 until her early 20's. This was a successful era, where Gillian owned, produced, trained and rode Royal Show Pony Galloway and Hack Champions and SA Horse of the Year winners. While Eventing became her main equestrian passion, Gill has always kept in touch with the show world and dressage and showjumping, working with Show and Working Hunters in the UK, coaching many winners in all disciplines around Australia and competing and judging at Royals and Horse of the Year shows and Major Horse Trials around Australia NZ UK and Europe.
